The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the sassa lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider level designed for intervention activities a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to enable the servicing of all prospects and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
